even as it hurts to remember
the hole it left is healed
a longing for your voices
fades with every step I'm taking
freed of a burden i didn't know i had
letting the future dictate me
saying fuck the past and smiling
going to miss everything about you

breathing in the fresh air
unhindered by that unseen pain
